Jefferson Wilderness continued…

Lots of rocky, vulcanic trails that sting the feet

Hey!  There’s still snow up here…

Lots of cool bridges over creeks, saving us from having to ford through ice cold water..

The bushes got so thick that it was difficult at times to see the trail, and a pain pushing through them.  Sometimes they were so high, it felt like I was in a rain forest and needed a machete.

Lots of low lying fog in the valleys.  Luckily, it was not at our altitude.
