Day 65

Sept 19
Miles:  18.6
PCT:  2552 – 2570.6 Ceder Camp
Total Miles:  842.5
Elevation gain:  4636

It was another late start in the morning because I was camping with others.  I’m sure I was not too excited to get up and put on all my wet clothes.  It’s the hardest thing to do each day is to get out of my warm, dry sleeping bag and sleeping clothes and put on my soggy wet shirt and pants when it’s freezing out (and dark).  Waiting for light somehow makes it psychologically more palatable to do the duty.

Today it was misty, wet all day.  The sun came out for just a minute.

Same feet condition.  Same blowdown conditions.  Lots of climbing.  Lots of down hill.  I really hate hiking while wet.
